We had a recent break in some pool equipment. Needless to say we woke up and there were large puddles up against the side of our house. It was about ankle deep and had been up against the house for approximately 2 hours. Could this have caused damage to the foundation? We live in Florida so we DO NOT have a basement. It is a brick house and there were no signs of water damage in the house.
Thanks!

Not likely any damage was done, as long as the slab wasn't over-topped or had supporting material washed away from underneath it.

For $30 you can get a moisture meter with needle probes and check the moisture content of your structural members. How much moisture persisting for how long is another issue.

"Wuzzat; this is duplicate posting, the water never got to the structure. "
neal, this is a duplicate response, just to get on your and wuzzy's structural nerves.;)

I dunno, seems like in every thread i been in, no matter what the subject, the water eventually reached the structure.
