Honeywell 9501 valve, noticed igniter staying lit when furnace wasn't calling for heat... ut oh!

Shut down power and removed cover on smart valve, noticed some wetness and corrosion... cleaned throughly with rubbing alcohol and toothbrush/q-tips.

Let dry out for a few hours, now when I turn it on the tstat calls for heat, igniter lights up and one click is heard.... the pilot lights and just sits there forever.... the main gas valve never opens :(

needs new valve assembly now?
