Hello Everyone,
Hope you are well.
I am installing some new cabinets and I notice there is a gap between the back of the cabinet and the wall? Is this ok or do I need to put a filler strip? I feel like the gap will not offer enough support but not real sure. See picture attached.

Wooden OR PLASTIC shims at the site of the screws will provide sufficient backing. I assume your screws are going into studs.
