We have a 4 year old house. A while back the hot water side of the sink in the master bath started acting up. When we turn the hot side on, it makes a hammering sound and no water comes out. If we turn it on really low, it drips or streams, but any higher and it shuts off completely. We have plenty of hot water everywhere else in the house, even in the master tub. I am completely lost and we have put this off long enough. Thanks in advance for your help!

Under the sink you'll find shut off valves for each hot & cold. Shut them both off and break down the faucet. Clean out any calcium build up in the pressure balancing valve. I assume the aerator is fine if cold water is working correctly. If you don't find any blockage (possibly a dislodged O-ring?) then disconnect the supply line under the sink and get ready to catch some water as you ease the shut off valve back on to check for hot water supply.
