I'm in the market for new wooden railings and baulsters to replace the original iron set in my 56 year old house. I'm looking for websites or reputable/excellent companies where I can look at photos and/or get some estimates for replacing the iron with wood. I've exposed hardwood floors and the railings at making the floor look very dead.
We primed and repainted the iron with Rustoleum paint but it's peeling again. I'll accept any company recommendations. If anyone has done this as a DIY project please let me know approximate cost and time. Thanks
