I won't have my garage wired before the winter. I currently have an extension cord from my outdoor plug running to my garage and in through the bottom of the door.
However, eventually, it will snow here, and then I will need to use my snowblower. That will chew up the cord in the first pass.
My thought is to put a hole in the sheeting of the wall. In the spring, after the electrical is done, I plan to install siding. The whole will be about 1 inch in diameter.
When I install the siding, I will wrap the wall. Do I need to worry about this hole?
