What type of flooring? Laminate? If so, pull apart and redo it.

No problem. A little laundry detergent and those socks will look like new!
I hammered it together a bit better but when one crack closes another one seems to open. Perhaps there is 1/16" difference that my laser gps did not register? Not sure i have patience for this discipline. Would you suggest for the cracks,
1) leave the way it is 2) wood filler 3) silicone. ?
