I am redoing my living room and am taking down the panel walls and putting up dryway in place. I will be wall mounting the TV and also wanted to do some kind of wall mount shelf for the Blue ray player and cable box. I was thinking instead of having wires hanging down and being ugly is there a way to have them in the wall? Is there some kind of box thing I can install in the wall which will allow me to run the coax and other wires in the wall with ease? I have a drawing of what im looking for. Thank you everyone.

Yes, there is a commonly used in-wall box to house your power, HDMI and other connections. Here is the link and a pic.

Suggestion .... run TWO HDMI cables to your equipment because if one goes bad you have a backup without ripping open the wall. On the equipment side you can use an inexpensive low volt box (orange) to land your cables.
