A simple question for which I can't seem to find a simple answer. I'm replacing the nosing on my basement stairs. The tread is vinyl (or lino??) and the face of each stair is painted wood. I'm wondering what would be the best adhesive to bond the rubber nosing to these surfaces? I really don't want to try something and then have to clean up and try something else. Thanks in advance.
