I'm looking for help in recreating the color shown on these cabinets. The description on Better Homes and Gardens says

Layers of glazes, paints, and stains create cabinet finishes seemingly worn by time and touched by generations of cooks. Here, black, red, and blue finishes stack up beneath a crackled top coat, which creates a glazed finish that allows each color to be seen and appreciated. Bin-style pulls underscore the cabinets' vintage essence.

I have zero experience layering colors and finishes to this effect. Can anyone give me some guidance?

It's says black, red, and blue - I only see black and blue. Would I really do a layer or black, then red, then blue? And in what medium? All regular interior paint? Stains? Help!! I love the look but am not entirely sure where to begin.

Thanks in advance!!

I think they painted it blue then added the red and wiped it off and then clearcoated it.
