This week's ShortCuts column solves the solvent dilemma. We list most of the more commonly used solvents and thinners, their properties, uses, and dangers. With thanks to Lowes we have a chart that you may want to print off. A note though, the hyperlink in the column will only take you as far as Lowes main page. Go to 'Paints' and then click on 'Buying Guides', it may take a little bit of surfing. Enjoy
