I was wondering what tool I should use to cut my exterior window sill.

I need to make a cut to the wood exterior window sill that I have freshly installed and I was wondering what tool I should use? I have my hand in the picture to give you a rough idea of size. I just need to take off about a quarter inch off the end. In advance thank you for your help.

Easiest would be one of these, you could likely rent one.

If you have a Harbor Freight store nearby, their cheapest oscillating saw should last long enough to do a few of those cuts. If you want a 'keeper' tool, get their next one up. I've been using them for awhile and those are worth it. Not a great tool but a great value. Once you own one of these you'll wonder how you ever managed without one.
