What height and exact location is best for this plumbing access panel?

The wall to the right of the bathtub is the same wall as the wall in the other picture (wall left of water heater).

The back wall of the bathtub is the back wall in the right room (room with water heater) of the other picture.

That would work but I have never seen one, you just cut drywall when and if there is a problem.

In my house if there is a closet or a utility room behind the shower I always put in a full height access opening frame it out and screw a piece of painted half inch plywood in the hole.

Mine is in our linin closet painted same color as the bathroom and on hinges.
