What is the curing time for Polyurethane to harden enough so you can't dig into it with your fingernail? I'm having to wait on a test piece & would be nice to know if I'm looking at a few days or a few weeks as you all know, time & waiting can drive you crazy.

Welcome Curtis:
Original Polyurethane should cure within 3 days, while the new water based type will usually take more like 7 days because it skins over quickly and it is difficult to cure underneath.
Of course, either type depends on temperature and humidity.
