My front deck does not have a roof over it. It is about 4-5 yrs old and nothing been done to it. I was planning on using that new paint for decks. I have thought about waiting till next yr to do this. What should i do wait or paint it? thanks

I guess I don't understand your hesitation. What do you see as the advantage in waiting as opposed to doing it now? After 4 years the wood is as dry as it is going to get.
