I'm new to this forum and I am a fairly confident intermediate do it yourselfer. I have completely redone almost an entire house and my last project is the master bathroom, we were looking to move the bathtub to the adjacent wall and were wondering how difficult it is to move the drain without ripping out the ceiling in the newly redone kitchen, I now realize I should have done the bathroom first but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, there is a sink on the wall where the tub wold be going is there any way to use that drain for the tub or no.

Hey welcome. You likely will be able to do something with it. You will have to open wall and floor to see what you have. Post a photo when you have it open.

If the sink drain is properly vented you should be able to tap both the drain and the vent for the tub.
