I read your post to mikeb about the striping. I'm wondering if that would work well in a dining room? My wife and I have discussed giving the dining room a face-lift, but we don't want the same old ho-hum paint. We're looking for something more. Thanks for your help.

yes it would i do lots of dininrg room in stripes
paint the walls one color
then measure off your stripes to the way you want them, some like them wide so you have less some like them skinny you have lots of them, all the way around the room and use paitners to tape to make them
get a darker color and do paint your stripes
I usually go 2 to 3 shades darker
Most of the time I do a glaze all over the wall after the stripes are done drying and i pulled the tape gently of course
It does look great and one of my big sellers along with texturizing

Thanks for the information. That sounds fairly easy. I think it will look great in our dining room and it's something that my wife and I will be able to do together.

Thanks again!
