How to lay shingles in sections vertically?

Will it be a problem or will i have to do it from right to left?

I was going to use this type of shingle, they say to off set it 6"

Are you planning on filling that area in the center with shingles? Metal roofing outside and shingles in the middle?
 
Those are the old shingles. So i'm planning on taking the rest off, then leveling with some plywood, then the underpayment, drip edge, starter row and start shingling all the way up. Then move the scaffolding over and start with the next section. Or should i do it all together? probably create a problem for myself. I will have to move the scaffolding much more...
Oh i just realized it's the same thing anyways, one move to the right then back to the center then to the left anyways. nevermind.
That was tiring work today just getting that far...

btw, what's your technique for leveling the roof?

Start at the left edge and work right in a diagonal, not vertical. Read the wrapper, the directions are printed on there for a reason.
