I see no one has any advice for a cobbled wood floor so I will help out those that do not know! I finally found out the answers to my questions by reading "Free Cobbled Wood Floor Installation Instructions". I hope this helps out someone - Deacon

Well, it looks pretty and straight forward for a DIY project. How does it hold up is a good question. Only time will tell I guess.

I did notice that "Free Cobbled Wood Floor Installation Instructions" receipe called for a rubber based glue when others say you can use any old mastic (water based) glue. If you want your floor to last, I would stick with cobbled wood floors rubber based glue and forget the mastic. Do the floor right the first time and you will not have any problems in the future.
