Did some browsing - looks like a great forum. I'm a 25yr DIY'er ... living in my 4th house over the years. Always wanting to learn more - and hopefully can offer some good advice.

Well - I kinda wish I was 25 yrs old again. But actually I'm about twice that. I meant I've been doing DIY stuff for 25 yrs. 4 houses between 3 states over those years. Actually, it's kind of interesting - the construction differences in those homes. For example, in our Chicago area home (built in 2001) - ALL electrical runs were in EMT (by code). Having little experience with metal bending and "pulling wire" - it was a bit frustrating, glad I'm back to Romex.
