Our kitchen is just about paid off, so now it's time to move on to the bathroom. I've got a few questions about going about it.

With the exception of most of the demo, painting and trimwork, I'd like to hire someone to do all the work. We'll need new drywall on the walls (ceiling is ok), flooring, tub surround (we want to keep the existing tub), add a window, etc. You get the idea. Pretty big project.

1). What do I need to look for in a contractor as far as someone that can do everything?
2). How many different estimates should I get?
3). This is our only bathroom. What's the best way to go about the remodel while still being able to maintain usable facilities?

I'm sure I'll think of some more questions later. Any other tips or advice would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dan
