We just moved into our new home and we've noticed that some of the bricks on our house behind our Interlock Front Porch are breaking away. I assume who ever installed the Interlock Porch didn't do everything properly - which is why the brick deteriation... correct me if I'm wrong???

What could have been missed?

What can I do now to prevent any further damage?

Welcome Ryancher:
Porches are usually built last on a house and, quite often, on fill dirt. If the fill dirt is not properly compacted, it allows the porch to settle; which would cause the pulling away.
Unfortunately, there is not much you can do until the settling is finished (usually a couple of years). After that, you can have the bricks torn out and relayed to even it up.
