painting over mold-prone ceiling

We have adequate ventilation (exhaust fan, window) in our small bathroom, but it is still very prone to mold growing on the ceiling. It has to be wiped down constantly in order to keep it from growing, and there are small stains in the painted drywall. After cleaning, can I paint it with Kilz or something to keep it from coming back? We aren't able to replace drywall at this time.

Latex paint, the higher the gloss the less permeable.

It seems to. I used it for years on problem jobs until I switched over to Aura Bath & Spa.

add a double dose of 'mildewcide' to the finish paint.
