After tip-toeing around I see a very helpful community and I am sure to spend plenty of time here.
I recently purchased my first home just outside of Chicago with plenty of projects waiting for me and decided this would be a great start to do research on my options as I am not known for doing my own upgrades and repairs. My new home looks like it hasn't received any major updates or repairs since it was built in the late 70's (which in my eyes is good, very well maintained) and in need of changes inside and out.
