My children today decided it would be fun to plug the bathroom sink upstairs and run water until it overflowed and then some. it caused the ceiling below in two different spots to leak and caused the ceiling to start coming off..... PLEASE HELP. We are do it your-selfers and would appreciate all the help we can get. It is a popcorn ceiling. and after today we realized that the previous owners must have had problems at one time because it is the ONLY ceiling in the house that has that junk. Thanks

Some times these thing will dry out on there own but the best bet is to cut some holes and let the area dry so mold dosn't get going. I have used a 4" hole saw for this and cut a peice for repair is easy when it is dry.
