I'm new to the forum, I do a lot of my own repairs. See if I can get some good tips and advice. Other than that, I've worked numerous construction jobs so hopefully I'll be able to help some of you out as well.

Great to have another experienced guy on the site ... and we ALL learn from each other. Good natured fun, vast experience to tap into, occasional disputes ...

I always advise newcomers to carefully describe their project, provide pictures, and to use the Facebook protocol to "Like" when someone makes an extra effort to help you ... and sometimes, we make mistakes ....

Did that cut-off tree by the corner of the addition have anything to do with this mishap?
