The top of the toilet fell down and took some chips out of some tiles. The tiles are very inconvenient to replace (need to remove baseboard and make new cuts for the toilet). I'm concerned that water may absorb through these chipped floor tiles (they are next to a shower after all) as well as the appearance.

Home improvement store had no advice beyond putting some caulk over the chip.

Any suggestions on how to seal and hide these blemishes?

Thanks,
Thomas

Do you have any extra tile? If so, removing the damaged tile and replacing it with a good piece of tile is a quick, rewarding, do it yourself project.

I do have around 10 extra tiles but I'm hoping there is another solution. There are several damaged tiles and to get them up for replacement looks like I will have to remove the baseboard, and possibly the toilet. (At a minimum I'd have to cut one of the tiles to fit around the toilet.)

Thanks for the input!
