We have radiant ceiling heat. Most of the time it works just fine with our programmable thermostat, but sometimes it "freaks out" and starts heating the house super hot on it's own. Any ideas why it would do this? Or how to fix it? I've replaced the thermostat three times already, and it doesn't appear to be the issue. The only solution I've found so far is to turn it off at the breaker to control the "sauna" in my house!

Put a thermometer next to the thermostat to make sure it is reading the heat of the room. You could have bear wires toughing each other somewhere in the thermostat system perhaps when they get to warm.
