Default Fruit / Root Cellar Ceiling Mold

Hi

My root cellar ceiling still has the original wood mold.

Can I cut it out?

The ceiling of the root cellar is the floor of my front step.

Is the floor of your front steps a little bouncy?

I think the term you are referring to is "form". Or, are you asking about "mold"?

Wow the light bulb just came on, lol. Good thing we keep you around to read between the lines oldog.

OP forget my first post.

I don’t think the wood is doing much once the concrete has set up. I also don’t think it is hurting much also in a root cellar. I would leave it as it looks to be holding your lighting now.
