Default does email notification work?

Hi,

Just found this site and registered today. I was just wondering if email notification of replies was working? I had several replies to a question I posted but didn't get any emails telling me this. I do have it set to instant notification and i checked my spam folder for any email from houserepairtalk.com

Thanks

I get about 10 per day any threads I have posted to when something is added.

Welcome to the forum!

Should work fine. Make sure you don't have typo in your profile's email address.

I don’t subscribe to any threads but get an email if someone posts to one I have posted to. If I don’t want the emails do I need to turn something off?

You can go into user settings and opt-out of notifications.

Where or what trail do you adventure down to find "user settings,"
because it is not on the title page?

Seems that Snoonyb may be accessing this site by way of a smartphone? Some of the controls can be done from a phone, but for full use of the controls, you would need to jump onto a laptop to see the full version.

From the full site, click on "My Account" at the top of the forum page after you log in. Options will be on the left side column.

Sometimes the emails are a day late.
