Default See Through Fireplace

I currently have a wood burning see-through fireplace and would like to find a gas insert.....not just a gas log set but an actual insert that could be seen from both sides and provide heating to at least one side.....I have searched high and low without success......might anyone ever have heard of such an animal....?
