Default Finishing basement

So what do you think about just painting ceiling black in basement is it hard and what kind of paint do you use?

Is it drywalled or just framing?

My ex-girlfriend Joyce would be highly offended by your equating her to a structural member. The things in the picture are floor/ceiling JOISTS.

Sorry, don't know much about houses! That's why I was asking a question. If your ex girl friend is offended then obviously she is load bearing. Lol

I have seen that in a few offices and at least one restraunt. It looks like a lot of work evan if you spray it on.

I would think the hard part would be prepping the surface for paint.

Yeah, the prep would be the tough part. Ductwork is normally galvanized, has to have the oil stripped off of it in order for paint to stick.

Other parts would have similar issues.

Got a pic of the situation?
