I have this cooktop in white

As a bachelor, I rarely use my wonderful Whirlpool/IKEA cooktop for cooking but when I have done I have noticed scuff marks from my metal pans. I try to let the heating element(s) thoroughly cool down before cleaning the surface. I was wondering if there were a ceramic sort of "pan cradle" that would heat the pan while saving my cooktop's white finish.

If the pot doesn't touch the ceran glass full the heat will not be transfered from the element to the pot.

Ceran ( glass ) flat cook tops. Ceran cook tops can be easier to keep clean as there is no bowls or rings to worry about, but your cookware must have a very flat bottom.
