I guess i can screw it right into the wall, seems to be enough 2x4's behind the wall, there or should i built it out with maybe 1x2" oak or even 2x6's but then the wall paper will be a problem.
I don't feel that confident about
something like this. Maybe better to screw the wood railing
right to the wall but then you couldn't get your hand around it.
Brass would be a nice idea too, again not confident it will last.
