Default Easiest Color to Paint over?

I have a boy due in July.

I want to paint the walls but at the end of the lease I have to paint them back.

I've had bad experiences painting over blue in the past (helped out a friend).

Is there an easier color to paint over with white, or a step I could take in order to get the blue off first?

I would think baby blue would be really easy to re-paint.

Not really. just paint it the color you want and then plan on a couple coats to cover it up. Sometimes a primer may be needed prior to paint depending on what you are covering with white.

For re-painting lots of verities available in colors which stays firmly on older paints and also looks great. But in my view light colors are very easy to re paint as you can change it in future as per your requirements.

I have to agree with Sean. Either way your more than likely going to have to do two coats over it to cover. But, if you stay in lighter shades like pastels you just might make it in one. Just don't count on it.

We decided to leave the wall white.

We have some decals that stick to the wall. That should be enough.

If you roll it tight, keep a wet edge, buy a quality paint and plan on a couple coats all should be good.

I learned when I painted my red kitchen that it took three coats to get the color just right.
