Default Weekends

What did you do this weekend?

My family went to the Zoo.

It was great.

Oddly enough my favorite exhibit was the butterfly house.

I watch a a lot of nature documentaries and have always seen footage of them eating. Never really seen it up close but this weekend I did. I also got to see some huge butterflies I would never have seen otherwise.

All the animals were hot and not really doing much. The elephants were playing with kegs. I found that odd.

I went to a birthday / pool party at my son's house to celebrate my son's birthday, my grand daughter's birthday, and Mother's Day...all in one. Done and done!

Saturday night I went to a party. It was actually a "memorial" party for a friend of ours that recently passed away. He had moved to Texas, so we threw a party in his honor here in Chicago. It was pretty cool meeting up with some old friends that I haven't seen in 20 years and talk about old times.

Sunday I threw a "family" birthday party for my twenty year old daughter. Had a great time with that also. Rather busy weekend for me.

It was good to get back to work today so I could relax.

Went to daughter/son in laws house to watch the fight on PPV.

Toughest fight of "Pretty Boys" career.

Lost weekend. Severe T-storms, one after the other.

BBQ Saturday and relax. Sunday went to the mountains to work on the cabin/house. Still in the mountains sitting in front of a fire watching TV having a cocktail all by myself. Beautiful views all around and a storm is coming in. Not a bad night.

I know the storm thing. I lost Sunday due to it. Today as well.

Storm blew over last night, today was nice. I am about to leave the mountains and venture on home, I don't want to but life says I should.
