I would like to know if this door would be a very good door to use in a finished basement Masonite Textured 6-Panel Hollow Core Primed Composite Prehung Interior Door?

How good do they hold up?
Are they a strong will built door?

I am looking at one from Home Depot this is the infro on it: Masonite Model # 73172 Internet # 100091456 Store SKU # 310889
Textured 6-Panel Hollow Core Primed Composite Prehung Interior Door.
At $64.00 is it a average door or a chap door?

The basement is dry.
If you could give a few pointers it would help.

In a dry basement, any typical interior door will be fine. It does depend on your choice of décor as to texture and number of panels (or no panels).

Hanging a prehung door is easy if the rough in opening allows for some slack to get it plumb and level. If the floor is finished, you have an easier time. If not, you might have to trim the door as you install the finished surface (tile, carpet, ???)

Here is a helpful beginner video. There are more at Youtube.com

That door is the common door today for interior. As Villa said prehung is the way to go even for a few $ more. Not a slab with a kit but actually comes with hinges and frame one piece.
