I loathe those squeeze together connectors because invariably they are the weakest link of a system. The type I'm talking about has offsetting thumb holds with sharp metal points that pierce the wire and little barbed spines that slide through slots with usually one side gray and the other black which are squeezed together for the connection.

I am considering hard wiring each light in the series so I know that when a light goes out it is the bulb and not the connection.

Does anyone know of connectors that could be used for this purpose? I've seen them as connecting one wire to another but not splitting off like a T. Otherwise I need to strip the wires and use waterproof wire nuts and tape to close them.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Thanks!
Good video too, I'll have to do that to them as well because I hate messing with stuff after I've installed it...
