Hey everyone,

So I'm 32 and have just enough knowledge to break things if I try to fix them...so I don't try to fix them. Right now I live in Hong Kong where manual labor is super cheap. For about 10 bucks USD I can get a local handyman to fix just about anything. I don't really own any tools aside from the Ikea hammer & screwdriver. Oh and I rent, I don't own.

All this is to say, I feel awfully incompetent at home repair. But I've come up against something I can't fix so I'm going to try to find a solution! I'll got to the relevant forum now and share.

Thanks for any help you can share. From skimming the forums this looks like the kind of community I want to join. I appreciate it!

Cheers,

-jeffreygene

Great city...I was there a long time ago when it was still British. It's one of the places I'd like to visit again.
