I installed a new heater thermostat and it was fine for a week. Today the breaker keeps tripping and is making a clicking noise. Not a buzz, clicking. I undid and redid all the wires to make sure everything was connected but after 10 minutes it trips again.

Breakers do get old and tired. If the wire runs up thru the attic, you might want to check up there just in case. Could be wet if you are in a snowy area and things aren't quite right, or a mouse could have tried to make a winter meal out of it. Most likely the breaker, but it couldn't hurt to check...

Clicking noise after tripping ?

Thanks everybody. I replaced the breaker and everything seems to be ok. No kok328. It was clicking while the breaker was on, before it tripped. It's all good now. Thanks again.
