I live in townhouse (connected to another townhouse) and use bathroom sink only twice a day to wash my face/brush teeth. for last 3 days, sink keeps filling up with water although the faucet is NOT leaking. I empty the sink of water with a large glass but 5-6 hours later, it is full again. what could be the problem?
:help:
I turned water off underneath the sink at 2:15 a.m. At 7:15 a.m., the sink is full again! I don't know where the water is coming from.

It sounds like you have a plugged pipe and water is coming from a sink at a higher level.
And welcome to the site.

you are sharing a common drain with your neighbor,,the sink line needs to be rodded out

call a plumbing co, to have it tak'n care of

now,,,here is the 50 thousand dollar question

do you OWN your condo?

it is legal for condo's that are rented or leased to share utilities

but if you OWN the condo..it is against code AND ZONING LAWS

to share he utilities..As a matter of fact,,his piping can not even PASS thru your condo

BUT,,,,MAYBE not all townships have the same law,,,ck bldg department
