Default Bill From Upstate New York

Hello I am from Upstate New York. My wife and I have recently purchased our first home. It is a nice starter home with plenty of room to expand. I would like to expand the home into the garage and then bring the garage up to the second level. If figured that we would eventually put shed dormers on the back of the home and gable dormers on the front of the home. I also want to move the staircase that is directly in the center of the home to the garage section of the house.

Am I doing too much? Should we sell the home and buy a home that will appease our needs?
