Default Cast Element stove

Hi folks,

In the middle of building a new kitchen and am looking at cooktops.... electric only.

Does anyone out there know of any brand cooktop that is the all electric with the cast elements (not the coil, but the solid cast metal elements). I'm having trouble finding them. Everything today is the ceramic/glass cooktop (I had one of those and absolutely hated it. So I will *not* be putting another one of those in)!

Don't know of any now that still make the solid cast iron element any more, might want to check many of the manufactures web sites to see if any are still available.

The solid cast iron elements where more popular in Europe, maybe one of there brands still have them?
