I hope everyone is doing well.

Our bathroom is about 10 years old (i.e. original with home). The grout in the bathroom after 10 years wasn't looking it's best. A little dull and stained - it's white. So I decided to sand it.

It looks much better!

Well obviously I should have posted this before doing it. But I just wanted to try it. I was wondering:

1. Is this something anyone has heard of before?

2. Do I have anything to worry about now?

3. I was going get a tile/grout sealer to apply now. Perhaps after 10 years it needed it anyways. Is that a good idea?

I would have tried a real grout cleaner first and then resealed it.
It should have been resealed long ago, that's why it's stained now.
