Default Shower frame

Should you install a shower frame to the drywall?

you can but if you are tiling inside the shower i would bring the tile work out past the frame and the bullnose it. and when you install the frame do not forget to silicone it generously along with screwing it to the tiled wall. this will help prevent a wet floor! do not be cheap with the silicone! also if you can't catch a stud for the frame you may want to use toggle bolts instead of mollies.
