More like the Alton Brown of everything- test his knowledge on other things also ,plumbing, wiring...
I'm going to go search out that dirt on soap scum post.
Right now I'm having trouble with a clogged drain in my tub. Is there anything besides Drano, since it's not good for my pipes ? Would baking powder & vinegar do anything ?

My sister LOVES a product called "One Second Plumber" which is basically just a can of compressed air (that they claim isn't compressed air, but a mixture of secret gasses) that you can use to blow the clog of the drain piping. My plumbing wholesalers sells a drain clearing tool that works much the same way, but you compress the air by hand with a pump.
