Default burners don't stay lit

none of my natural gas burners are working - think the power company may have turned gas supply off - have called and asked - forwarded to voice mail so I am uncertain. Water heater will not stay lit - have gotten pilot lit only twice after numerous attempts over past couple of days but burner will not stay lit at all. Stove burners do not come on but do occasionally for less than a minute, What's the problem? Has the gas company shut off my gas?
