I'm going to be remodeling a kitchen in a few months. I need to relocate some feed lines and drain lines from the middle of the kitchen to a wall about 8 feet away. I DON'T want to have to rip up the nice wood floor to run the lines. I was thinking about running pex from the current lines under floor over to the wall and then up to their terminus. I could rip into the ceiling drywall downstairs to access the lines but was wondering if there any issues with running pex about 8 feet without having it supported against a stud.
