Hi, I'm looking for help with my garage door.
It's been a few years now but, I just noticed today that the entire door rides about 1" to one side.
It was a single torsion spring unit but, I upgraded it to double torsion spring unit.
What I'm wondering is; is one spring tighter than the other that is causing the problem and if so, which spring do I adjust to get it to go to the right from inside looking out of the garage?

I would check the tension on the cables.

they are both tight with no noticeable difference between the two

I just called my buddy that had the same thing. He thinks it was the cable drum was in the wrong place but he is not sure. I was going by what he told me last year.

I found this
Open the door half way by hand & shift the door back to the left by pulling on the bottom of the door (it should move quite easily). Move the bottom of the track on the right closer to the door so it can't shift back. The track should be tighter at the bottom then at the top & if it is tight enough at the bottom the door will always close in the same position. The vertical tracks should be in a slight "V" instead of being plumb up & down.

Now that you mention it I recall having issues with the drum settings cause they making the shaft bend the end shaft bearing brackets.
I’ll check it again tomorrow.
Thanks
