Hey peeps. Good day to ya. Anyone have experience with Pella casement windows?? I got a quote for 2 replacement sashes double pane, unfinished wood interior, 36x24" for $450/pc so tax and shipping brings it to just over $1100 total!!! Seems absolutely ridiculous!!! Just for 2 sashes? Wouldn't you agree?!?

Do you have any of the warranty papers?

If your old sash are still good and just need new double pane glass, you can have that replaced locally by a good glass company.

Is the top of sash OK? Find a local wood shop to replace the bottom piece of your sash. Certainly a lot cheaper.

Tops are all still good so I think I just might do that! Is there any kind of special or outdoor specific polyurethane I can seal them with to protect against the moisture? Not sure if the seals on the actual window structure are replaceable or not

Are these vinyl clad? Find a good window mfg./repair shop in your area. If they are clad, the shop may be able to put a new wood insert in. Otherwise a good paint should work fine.

Copy that! I didn't think about that being a wood insert type thing. Thanks for the advice.

Just realized I can't do this. If it takes the guys some some time to do it, what do I put in place of my windowless hole lol
